Mrs Tshepiso Ngoetsana

Ms. Tshepiso Ngoetsana is an Associate lecturer and researcher at the Human Biology Department and has worked in academia for 3 years. Her niche and research interest are in the areas of medicinal plants and metabolic derangements, particularly relating to kidney and liver function. In terms of research methodologies, she is currently focused on systematic types of reviews and quasi-experimental research. Tshepiso enjoys research and will start supervising honours, Master’s and Doctoral students.

Her teaching focuses on the physiological processes of body organs. Moreover, the area of research, leadership and laboratory management, which she facilitates in the undergraduate MBCHB programmes. Tshepiso uses interactive and innovative teaching approaches with the aim of learning with and from the students and making learning fun.
